Following up the Leadership Training of Management Development Program (LMDP) UAD Phase 1 granted by Erasmus+ Indonesian Higher Education Leadership (iHiLead). UAD conducted Phase 2 of LMDP. Phase 2 was officially opened by Dr. Farid Setiawan, M.Pd.I. (Leader of the UAD LMDP Task Force Team) with a report on the progress of activities, followed by remarks from Dr. Norma Sari, M. Hum. (Vice Rector of Human Resources).
Phase 2 Batch 2 was conducted from 13 to 15 July 2023 and attended by the deans and vice deans from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Faculty of Psychology, Faculty of Public Health, Faculty of Literature, Culture, and Communication, and Faculty of Islamic Studies.
Representatives of Muhammadiyah and Aisyiyah Higher Education institutions consist of the leaders from Universitas Muhammadiyah Klaten, ITS PKU Muhammadiyah Surakarta, Universitas Siber Muhammadiyah, Universitas Muhammadiyah Gombong, Universitas Muhammadiyah Magelang, and Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo.
The first material on Leadership Best Practice was delivered directly by Prof. Suyanto, Ph.D., he is a professor, a member of the UAD Head of Trustee Board, the Director General of Elementary and Basic Education and Plt. Director General of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia Ministry of Education and Culture. In 2019, the Founder of GpAP, and Rector of Yogyakarta State University in 1999-2003 and 2003-2007.
The next material on Immunity to Change Methodology was delivered by Ahmad Muttaqin, S.Ag., M.Ag., M.A., Ph.D. (Secretary and Leadership Training Team of Higher Education Council, Research and Development of Muhammadiyah Central Board ) Ghofar Ismail, M.A. (Leadership Training Team of Higher Education Council, Research and Development of Muhammadiyah Central Board), and by Dr. Punang Amari Puja, S.E., S.T., M.IT. (Leadership Training Team of Higher Education Council, Research and Development of Muhammadiyah CentralBoard) and guided by Afit Istiandaru, S.Pd., M.Pd. (UAD LMDP Team). After that, Ida Puspita, M.A.Res. (The UAD LMDP Team) delivered material on the Change Project Development, Management, and Consultation Strategy.
On the second day, Afit Istiandaru, S.Pd., M.Pd (LMDP Trainers) dan Ida Puspita, M.A.Res. ((LMDP Trainers) led the discussion on Project Development Strategy, Management, and Consulting.
Furthermore, the trainers’ team led the Workshop on Drafting Proposals of Immunity to Change Project. On this occasion, the participants from UAD were grouped based on their faculties, and the participants from Muhammadiyah and Aisyiyah Higher Education Institutions were grouped based on their home institutions. Each group discussed current problems faced at their institutions. It was followed by an online Client Meeting. During the Client Meeting, the participants interviewed their collages, leaders, and staff related to their experiences, and problem at work.
On the third day, each group presented their proposal and got feedback from the trainers. When each group presented the proposal others eagerly delivered questions as insight for the proposals.
During this event, Ike Agustina, S.Psi., M.Psi., Psi (Head of PEMIMPIN) introduced PEMIMPIN and its projects.
